I have implemented having them stand at the back of class and only coming back to sit down once they behave, writing sentences, calling home, etc. but the problem still persists.
Their former director got bumped up to the head director position during the summer, and whenever he arrives to teach they act like angels and rehearsals are smooth, so I am not able to show the issues I am having to him. Suggestions on how to get these kids to come around? This class is one I dread, and I hate that I feel that way.
