I get to "play" more in the classroom too. There are so many fun things you can do in elementary!
I've already lost five pounds *this school year* due to the extra movement. This is after I cut down about 10-15 before COVID before it came back last year.
Sure, I lost the stipend. But I won't be looking back. If the IDEAL middle school situation opens up for me in the next couple of years, I MIGHT look at it. But I am 100% happier and better off than I was.
Oh - and one more thing. No stress from UIL, no marching band, I get to meet EVERY kid in school and pump them up on being in band/choir/orchestra, and I don't have to deal with mean kids or sarcasm anymore - and they all (at least until spring semester) SMELL a ton better than HS kids!
