As for storage and organization:
Clear containers. Labels.
Student leadership involvement for everything that doesn't include FERPA or cash.
Have a place - either an app on your phone or a small notebook - where you record all the great ideas you have AS you have them. Or they fly away to someone else.
I kept a taskbook. It's a bullet journal, but I just put the date at the top and write down all the things I am supposed to do. A few minutes to center what I want to do, and checking in a few times during the day kept me on task.
If a task comes - do it as soon as humanly possible. Immediately if you can. If you delay it, it is highly likely it will never happen. f you cannot do it immediately, put it on the task list.
