Re: How many applications have you filled until interview
It really is "Its not what you know, its who you know." Fresh out of school I must have filled out 100+ applications and did not receive ONE phone call (It was mid July and I started to panic). It wasn't until I reached out to alumni, fellow TBS/KKY members, or even those who I considered acquaintances that I was given a tip that a small school (which wasn't posted on ATSSB or TMEA job board), was in desperate need of an assistant director. Alot of new applicants don't utilize the recourses they built during their undergrad when applying for new jobs and it costs them time.
Keep calm and email everyone, letting them know you're still looking and could use a little help. A little goes a long way.
Side Note: Do not use the same cover letter for every application. The cover letter must reflect what is in the posting and then some. Its extra work but it pays off.
Hope this helps!
