1. I am getting my masters in accounting. Iíve secured an entry level job as a staff accountant that pays almost the same as Iím making teaching. No degree earned YET. The ceiling of income potential will only go up once thatís finished. It includes better benefits, 401k, and a yearly bonus. And itís only 40 hours a week.
2. I have friends who have gone into coding and programming. Some have done independent courses/internships, and othersí have gone back to school.
3. I know of some folks going into HR, curriculum design, real estate, MLMs, day care businesses, etc.
If teaching truly isnít for you then you should save your pennies, do your research, and find something else that interests you. We as professionals have a lot to offer the world.
