The position will pay an annual salary of $36,000.
Duties include (but are not confined to):
Coordination of curriculum for 5th grade, 6th grade, 7/8 grade and HS band classes.
Performance at *football games, pep rallies, Fall and Spring concerts and TPSMEA concert contest.
Supervision of adjunct band staff and overseeing private lesson program.
*The band DOES NOT march and performs only at regular season home games.
The LCCS Band is a progressive, growing program benefiting from tremendous administrative and parental support. Since 2016, the band has consistently earned sweepstakes honors at the TPSMEA (Texas Private School Music Educators Association) concert contest and enjoys individual student success at the region/state levels for TPSMEA and ATSSB (Association of Texas Small School Bands). Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak, the LCCS Band was named 1st Runner-up at the 2019 TAPPS (Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools) state band competition.
The ideal candidate must hold the Bachelor of Music Education degree from an accredited college/university. The candidate must be a mature Christian and active in a local church. He/she must interact well with students/faculty and support the policies and procedures of Lake Country Christian School.
