Unfortunately I'm also looking at the handle and thinking that down in the valley I know there have been far fewer events happening this year - and most of the schools I've talked with are mostly, if not nearly completely virtual still. They've had huge staff sizes down there consistently for years, but if numbers of kids in the programs are way down that's an easy target for admins.
The one good thing is that it looks like funding will not be less for this coming year. The problem will be if schools manage to get enough of those kids back in school by snapshot day to count for state funding! I'm also crossing my fingers that somehow the billions of dollars the feds gave the state will actually make it to schools this time...
