Congratulations on your success. My advice is do not tell ANYBODY until you want EVERYBODY to know. NOBODY keeps secrets anymore. Resign as close to the end of the year as you feel comfortable not losing control of your classroom. Once you are a lame duck in anybodies eyes, it’s over.
