If you write using a school computer then that's an issue for getting paid. Back in the 80's and 90's we all wrote our own drill and rearranged or arranged our own music as a part of the job to make our bands the best. Bottom line, writing drill for one's own band if one chooses to do it, is just part of the job. It's like cutting your own lawn or painting your own house.
