I would like to echo the words of Kevin, here. Michael is one of the most genuine people I know. He is the consummate musician and his students have consistently exhibited the most musicianship of any high school students that I have seen (even in the great State of Texas). I used his Honor Orchestra concerts as an illustration with my students just last week.

Michael has served TMEA since before he graduated college as an organizer for all-state groups and has held various offices within his region and division (so...over 20 years). He always has lots of ribbons on his TMEA badge because he does so much for our organization.

He will serve TMEA with dignity and honor. He has always been very organized and disciplined and his work shows it.

Michael has my vote for TMEA President-Elect!
