I'm with you today, I got threatened by a student (non-band) because I caught him making out in the hall with a girl. He had her up against the wall, full lip lock, and his hands on her butt. My assistant got sexually harassed through Google Classroom by a student from her advisory. We've been told we have to baby sit kids before school instead of having tutoring time for our kids and helping out remote kids. Most of the band is remote and won't log in or do work. And the list goes on. I'm in year 23. I was hoping to get to 30 but I don't know if I want to do this anymore. When did things get so bad? I know middle school kids don't have much in the way of sense or dedication, but my students just 7-10 years ago had more than this.
