I told my students at the start of the year - I even gave the bosses my letter. It was one of the most relaxing years I had. then, I assisted in helping the interview process (I stayed out of the room). The boss ignored my suggestions for a replacement. Didn't matter. I moved on. Retirement is nice if only it paid better. m
