This is a question for one of their lawyers honestly. Personally we have a staff member who was in this boat for way too much of the fall. Their supervisor is a principal on their campus (teach another subject and our guard), and I don't know what they'll decide. It's honestly questionable for renewal to me with having been out four or five times in the fall. If it's not from exposure at work that does start to seem like something to be annoyed by.
Might be the year not to have those social events going on? Just my personal thought.
