Middle school teacher here. I’m looking to add 6th grade solos to the calendar perhaps this year, possibly in the future. When do you feel is a good time? Some programs do this as early as January (or earlier) some as late as May. Yes, you can give appropriate literature for most levels, but what do you feel is truly an appropriate time?
