I have a friend who comes and does oboe lessons for us normally. She suggested the Fox Renard 330 when we bought a new one about seven years ago. It's resin, but has the full key system on it. I would love to have a Loree for my best oboe players, but a wooden oboe comes with its own difficulties with cracks potentially. For that reason I went with it to have something that would be more durable. Other than once or twice needing some adjustment it's held up well. Sounds great in my players hands, tuning is good, so no complaints! Not a fan of the zip case - at some point I need to replace that in the next couple of years. (Too many instruments are coming with them!)
