I would ask to see if you can spend a few days at a campus with the direct opposite demographic/socioeconomic set up as the the school you are at. Every district has schools on both sides of the spectrum.

You need to be fully aware of the wide gambit of programs that you may step into on your first day teaching, and you need to be prepared to handle both.
