Re: UIL and moving forward
I don't completely understand your question. We rehearsed in a block of offset rows; 9/8/9/8/9/8/9 with seats 6 ft apart side to side and rows 6 ft making the window space 12 ft. There were not assigned seats and sections sat erratic. When music was passed out, parts were given to differing individuals. Our Christmas concert we sat in the same form, but I did put them in like instrumentation groups. My biggest challenge was percussion. The last recommendation from UIL was to not allow them to migrate to different instruments, so I had duplication of instruments allowing students to perform different equipment without sharing. Our last email from UIL stated Our C&SR is virtual and not in person. Our challenge is finding a suitable venue to record.
