A survey was sent to the 2, 4, and 6A superintendents asking if they wanted to have it next year since so many schools opted out this year. The results were overwhelmingly in favor, so the word from the state office was that they are moving ahead with plans to have state for all conferences next year.

This all was in an email from the state music office to the marching band director mailing list, which consists of those who completed the required safety training this year.
