I agree, even the Mozart concerti mentioned above are probably out of reach for an "average" player. The only one I would consider would be the 2nd movement of the 3rd concerto...but I would have to really know the kid first.

Stick with a Class 2 this year. If the kid really wanted to do a Class 1, they should have been working on one by now.
