I've thought all along this could be bad for South Texas even (actually looks okay this weekend and next), but knew you all were in for some frigid contests... let alone rehearsals! (Only two of us from the first ten bands made finals that night!)

Keep the warm air going through those horns, wrap hands around mouthpieces, etc. Triple check slides move before you get there because you'll probably get the joy of having most of them all the way in!

At least your kids might have dealt with cold though, so they may not be the complete wimps our kids are down here. 50 degrees = winter coats are out!
