It, like literally hundreds of other bills passed by the Democratic-controlled house, sat on McConnell's desk and died.

Mitch McConnell is doing EXACTLY WHAT his corporate overlords are paying him to do, which is completely obstruct and ignore the populist agenda. (Some of which deservedly so, but not all).

Do NOT blame Democrats for something they cannot do anything about. The Senate is 100% controlled by the Republican Party right now, and until that changes, literally NOTHING can be done any differently, no matter WHAT happens in the House or with the Presidency.

And the worst part - if the Senate stays Republican after the Georgia runoffs, they'll continue to gerrymander the districts into giving a minority of the population a majority of representation, and we'll be stuck in this for another decade.
