The students may be safer, but only if they are made to distance and mask. The situation is not made better by calling all kids back to school. The measures in place aren't good enough for a full population of kids. Community spread will occur without training and discipline.

Look, we have been asked and trained to literally take a bullet for students. Obviously, covid and community spread are well within the realm of reason if I am already ready to take a bullet for a student. But I'm not going to walk back into the building to hold hands with the shooter. Likewise, it shouldn't be necessary to put ourselves at undue risk and directly in the line of fire.
