From what I understand there is some thought and talk of making C&SR and S&E virtual. The problem is they're trying to get publishers on board with streaming it without exorbitant fees. I'm honestly a bit confused on that part, but UIL has actual attorneys that they work with. The idea would be you would stream your performance(s) to a judge/judges live from your school. Seems like the best option to me honestly.

Our C&SR is scheduled for April, so there is a thin chance we'll see enough vaccinations by then to make this a non-issue. Assuming it doesn't, I don't know how they can logistically run a contest like we normally go to. Too many extra contacts, variables, and as you said extra space needed. I know our site definitely has a smaller stage than the space I'm using!
