It’s supremely frustrating in South Texas!
The valley is the only place where they took it very seriously and if there were lots of cases in your school that they went to virtual learning.
In the corpus area, small to 4a schools who were good in football had their bands benefit because those schools refused to go to complete distant learning or cancel any sporting events.
Thus, the band was given a lifeline to some kind of normalcy. Even with grades taking some toll, those bands are the only ones that marched today at contest.
It’s so incredibly frustrating In many places it came down to sports.
