I think we will see a similar shift in education. Homeschooling is already picking up. I think we will see online enterprises spring up that offer curriculum like Hillsdale College with the history and government courses. Get your diploma on your schedule.
Yes, we all know that there are things in person school offers that online cannot (like us). But how can you not look at the way some parents/kids flock to college credit/early college programs (many times quitting our programs) and not think that the same thing will happen with virtual school? Of course one big factor will be having a parent able to stay at home, but this year we already see neighborhood or church groups where one parent monitors a group of kids - each parent taking one day a week.
I don't think this is something that will be good for kids, but I also can't believe that it is not coming.
