The biggest thing you need is patience and understanding. I did that transition for a while when I relocated. It was in a district that was a little bit of a mess, so the good thing was that no one was always on my butt to "teach this method" or anything really. It meant that I could come up with something new, give it a try and if it wasn't great, it was no big deal and I was able to learn from it, which led me to new and sometimes exciting things. I would recommend really opening your mind to how you can tie in your class to what the elementary teachers are doing in their class. Just remember you will do so much dumb stuff that you didn't have to do before and you won't see your students very often. But good elementary teachers are needed. Best wishes.
