That's a great question because my staff went down to 1 director really quick midweek. Man, we had all sorts of advice about how to get a rapid test done. That test will clear the rest of a family in a situation where someone in the family is showing symptoms. In the case where you are the one showing symptoms you have to get a normal negative test result before returning according to what we're being told here. I'd say that in my case the super or transportation director would have driven for me. The band probably would have been monitored by administration and my student leadership team would've probably been able to run halftime and the game. I'm fortunate to have an at least decently strong leadership in my program. If you don't have that, having someone who is familiar with band in the community step in would help. If you ask around, there's usually somebody on your teaching staff who use to be a serious band person that would help. It's good that y'all are thinking ahead. I think it's about to get really rough for everyone.
