OP I'm sorry to hear that. I've had staff members have to quarantine but dodged the real bullets so far!
The seven day average yesterday was the highest it's been in a couple weeks. I'm not sure if the data dump I heard about was included in that or not. If it was then it was just a minor bump I'm guessing. This week and next we'll see if there's a spike from Labor day. Generation 1 cases should be symptomatic at this point, and the bigger Generation 2 cases would be next week and the week after. That's where I'm most concerned about a spike in schools. Universities are showing some success in slowing things, but most of those have told their kids to quarantine in their dorms. Our kids are getting out and more social every day at school. We'll be up to 75% of our students being on campus next week, and it's getting less distanced with that.
I hope we keep getting lucky, but I'm not taking any chances. Stick with what procedures you can put in place to distance and mask. I keep telling our kids that it's inevitable we'll have a case - when that happens I do not want it spreading in band!
