Economies I would agree though, for now, we are bouncing back in a hurry in terms of consumer spending. Need to get the hospitality/travel market back up because there are some impending cuts if people don't start getting on airplanes which could have a second wave economic attack this Fall. I suspect Christmas spending will be high so that should help small and large businesses. Of the 60 million that lost jobs during this how many are still unemployed? There is lots of money starting to flow at the local level to help with rent assistance which might help some folks from evictions.
Definitely still some potential economic danger out there but I see the bigger danger from people deciding things aren't important from a time and energy and budget standpoint more than an economic recovery. Football found a way to get on the field. Volleyball found a way to get on the court. The athletes got to conditioning and playing much faster than band did. heck, while football coaches were doing everything they could, (at the parents and players request), to get back on the field, teachers pushed to do online learning and even sued the state over it. I hope bands find a way on the field before parents decide they have better things to do with a $1,000 band fee and crazy hours after school.....
