[ Post a Response | The Yellow Board ]
Re: Tuesday Meeting
The USPS never stopped deliveries. They have been delivering to businesses and homes since this started. There have been shipments of food stuff since this started. Grocery stores never stopped. Heck, a lot of school cafeterias never stopped and in fact just moved the food line out to the parking lot where they were handing to families as they drove up. UPS/Fed Ex never stopped. Those companies are making money hand over fist. I don't understand why those would stop with a school board decision. That makes no logical sense. Grandparent breakfasts or donuts with dad or any number of other visitors can be controlled by school boards which might minimize risk. Stopping colleges from sending in kids to observe. Stopping clinicians or consultants might reduce risk but stopping food deliveries defies logic.
I know there is a much bigger picture. That is what I'm considering. You cannot isolate yourself from this. The evidence is clear. Let local schools decide who comes in. If they want to shut down food deliveries they can but that seems like a mute point since most of those food deliveries happen with no contact to students or even cafeteria workers, (at least in my experience).
There is no isolation. You have been to the grocery store. You have been to other places. Wear your mask and call it good. That's the best you have because anything else you do will have little to no impact on the final outcome.
