Re: Pct of kids missing and it's affect on performance
Tust me, there will be plenty of administrators pressuring UIL sponsors to go to UIL and be as competitive as possible. I have worked for administrators earlier in my career that would pull me aside in private conversations demanding that I do well and demanding an answer as to why I made a II at UIL (took me till my 2nd year to get the program up to a I).
Parts of the state with little or few cases will be business as usual when it comes to UIL. Some of these administrators will look at it as their time to shine!
I would love to name schools and districts, but it would not be fair to the directors who are currently there. I hope their situation has improved since my knowledge of their situation. Luckily I work in a very supportive situation now.
