Why? Yes thatís a question I keep asking myself. However Iíll just say that if you think some of the posts on the board are pretty crazy-you should read some of the ones that donít get approved.
Speaking of approval-just because I approve a post doesnít mean I approve of the message. I have thoughts and feelings about what is going on but I also recognize I have no dog in this fight and truthfully I only barely meet the requirements to post myself as I am long-retired. Having said that, I really feel a lot of empathy for all teachers in this crazy frustrating time. I understand the frustrations of leaders too-Many of them and I grew up together in this business as friends. It doesnít make me happy to see the accusations, misinformation or insults, so I try to moderate those as best I can, while also trying my best to be fair to you who question decisions.
So again, people who are parents, students, politicians, Russians, etc...not invited to post on this board. No judgement, hard feelings, or anything like that. Just like for teachers thoughts, concerns, and opinions kept as the focus of this forum and ask community folks to find another.
I do have a bias against name-calling, and I also canít support the comments that only a small amount of students will be infected or possibly die. I just canít have that thought presented by educators on my board. I apologize for the frustration Iíve caused over that issue.
Finally I accidentally reject some posts that are perfectly fine, I just hit the wrong button. So if you know that was you, try again and hopefully Iíll hit the right button.
Have a great day!
