I know this doesn't help your immediate problem but we abandoned Charms a couple of years ago. We use CutTime now because the district purchased it, but just barely.
All the data needs of our program (except for email messages) can now be taken care of through using Google Sheets / Forms.
For communication, we still use cuttime, but that is it.
Mass emails are simply posted on our website now with a link to the page sent through remind.
For targeted emails, It is almost easier sometimes to just filter my Google Spreadsheet as needed and copy and paste the email addresses into the BCC line of my school email.
Inventory and financial management is simpler in Google Sheets where I can see all the details and work with what I need when I need it; no weird menus or popup problems.
Plus, we never used the online payment features of charms or cuttime anyway. District wouldn't allow it...
Good luck! Maybe this is the year you can step away from it and avoid the hassle... Once you get past this problem.
