I cannot, for the life of me understand, why some of us can't read the statistics and realize that this thing isn't a death sentence for the majority of us!
The NCAA will play football in the fall. The SEC and Big XII have already said they are. Campuses will open for the same reason as above. (Plus they really cannot afford to stay open without those ticket holders showing up). UT already has a plan in place for 50% of their stadium and that likely will go up by September 1. Kids will get sick but they won't die and this is the fastest, and safest way, (not a vaccine), to get past this thing.
Colorado can play football in the spring but they will hurt the kids that desperately need scholarships to attend college. Remember Spring in Colorado means they couldn't take the field until about March or April in many places. Texas kids are ready to get back on the field. A few of the football players I have talked too started doing individual and small group workouts last week to be ready for today. They are tired of being inside and they don't need to be.
