Long story short, I want to ask you how does your district differentiate between what counts towards your "extra days" versus what counts towards your stipend regarding your contract.
For example, if you work a Saturday for a marching contest or all-region auditions or clinic and concert, does that full day get covered by your "extra days" or is it covered by your stipend?
It's looking like I'm going to have to have a meeting with my Sup for clarification because I'm being told that all of the full days we've worked aren't covered by our "extra days," they're covered by a measly stipend. Just so you have the info, this is for the assistant HS contracts that are 217 days that start on July 25th. I was told anything prior to July 25th last year didn't count towards the 217 days. Furthermore all the Saturdays we worked don't count towards the 217 days either.
So...How does your district define them? Or do they?
