Like the CDC guidelines, these are not feasible. How big does UIL think band halls are to maintain these distances? Sanitizing all equipment (properly) is a long process by itself. Also, 25% capacity? What does that mean? Is that 25% of the band or 25% of what the fire marshal has said is the capacity of the room. If the former, you might as well just have sectionals (as long as there are not more than 15 kids. If the later, that could actually mean less than 25% of the band depending on the size of the band. But, why start June 8? Is this because FB is getting to start? Does this just mean indoor rehearsals or can bands start working on fundamentals and drill with no time limits? There are still a lot of unknowns with this. It really doesn't affect me as I do MS only; just offering food for thought.
