Re: Covid-19 and staying at home
Seriously? From their car to an empty band hall and back is "everyone they'll go near"? Wonder if they have been to Target? Or a grocery store or hardware store or a gas station or walking a trail or the neighborhood in the last 3 months?
Maybe they are at-risk. That one I would give you in which case they should stay home with a can of Lysol in hand at all times and never, never, never be near anyone ever again. If they are under 65 and are in relatively decent health then they are letting fear get the best of them.
Afraid to expose themselves to everyone they'll go near on the way to and from the band hall, and afraid to be in a space that has allegedly been secured since mid-March but that anyone may have been in at any time in the past few days and weeks without their knowledge.
Afraid to be near another person whose habits and visiting habits in the past two months are unknown to the OP, so they're being cautious.
Perhaps immuno-compromised so they don't want to be even accidentally exposed?
And, finally, realizing that *sorting shakos* is not a time critical activity and that it can be taken care of in June or July?
