UIL needs to commission a unique sightreading piece for every band that will be going to C&SR. They can then incinerate the score and parts immediately after the performance so there is no possibility anyone can be infected. It might cost a lot of money but it is in the name of safety.
When libraries open up, they will quarantine books and other handled materials until the CDC deems them safe for reissue. Most likely 3 plus days from what Iíve read. For our SR contests, we should follow CDC protocol and have students and directors not touching copies previously used. This may mean a huge change in the contest and process. Iím just trying to think ahead.
