I didn't pay for anything. I just applied and was approved for a free premium membership. Maybe it has something to do with what account the classes are assigned? I know I had two accounts. One from the previous year and the new one they assigned me. I had to create classes and link them to the new account.
I would reach out through their support ticket system. They usually respond in a day or two.
I had the exact issue. I paid for the teacher version, uploaded our show, but unable to assign any part of it. It looks like that even though I paid, the kids would have to also in order to assign uploaded music. It should have been clear so I wouldn't have wasted my money.
We have taken advantage of the COVID-19 free SmartMusic. I am pretty familiar with the old SmartMusic but I've hit a brick wall.
I paid for the subscription so we can assign pieces to our students and also upload custom exercises made in Finale. However, I am able to assign the pre-loaded SmartMusic but when I attempt to assign one of the exercises I've made in Finale, export as XML, uploaded to SmartMusic, etc. the classes are greyed out. Not allowing me to assign. Compounded by if I try to edit/delete those files it will not allow such actions.
Has anyone else encountered this same problem? Suggestions?
