Re: Any input appreciated
Insist with the contractor that you have a LICENSED AUDIOLOGIST set up the acoustics for your rehearsal rooms. I got this information from a cousin of mine who is an architect. He said that a lot of architects and/or their firms will swear up and down that they can do the acoustics. They can't do it
. Unless the contractor sub-contracts out to an audiologist, or has one on their staff, you are going to suffer with a bad sounding room if it is left up to the architect.
Good news! Meeting with contractor for new facilities moved up a month!
Bad news! It is Friday!
I have most of my ducks sort of in a jumble, but could use some input (preferably from small schools)
Email is email@example.com if you would like to share some input on any of the following:
1) size/pic of percussion storage area
2) size/pic of uniform room
3) size/pic of elementary music room
4) (for anyone who has newer facilities) what do you wish you had thought of during the process!
