Re: Playable Class I Baritone Solo
I try to have all of my students play the Curnow Rhapsody at some point before they graduate. I was so happy when I saw they added it to the list back in (I think) '07. The slow sections have so much depth to really draw out the emotion and the fast sections are accessible enough, but have some headroom for those that want to leave some flames.
I have a Senior that is going to play Andante et Allegro on Trumpet for S/E. He also wants to play a Class I Baritone solo. Since he cannot play Andante et Allegro on Baritone, what would be a good playable Class I Baritone/Euphonium solo for him.
