keep your head up and moving forward. Everyone wants to be liked. The trick is, to be liked by the right people. I'm talking about your family, trusted friends, God, and most importantly, yourself. I always told my students, "I ain't trying to win Prom King, I'm trying to make better musicians and better people". If you can go home every day with a clear conscience that you gave your best that day with integrity, character, good modeling, and maturity, then you have succeeded. Those are attributes that no one can take away from you......you can only GIVE them away.
Keep your head up. Maintain your self-awareness, but don't let it be the reason(excuse) you don't continue to grow as a person. Good job for reaching out.
