Last time I had to deal with it, I think we had about 10 kids out of 120 that couldn't be there. Admin didn't say anything to me about missing kids.

So, we have a playoff game tonight and we're 50/50 on whether or not we win. If we win, there will of course be a game over Thanksgiving break.
How do you handle it yellow board? Last time this happened, my admin told me to ask for volunteers for a pep band and if we had enough, we would go. (We did not.. 14 flutes and a bass drum does not a pep band make.)
I'm going to talk to my admin again and see if their feelings have changed, but what do you do in your district? If you or your district makes it mandatory, how do you handle kids that don't go? Alternate assignment? Just looking for options.
