We purchased their beginner horn and use it solely for our 6th graders. I love that they are metal linkage versus string. We never have to worry about a string for a 6th grader. I think they slot well for that age. I don't know that I would buy them for older kids. We are on year two.

Some of our kids have purchased the "Wink" trumpet. I think they have been a good, affordable
alternative to renting/purchasing other brands.
