If the admin is really that bad then don't resign yet, if they are "in Love" with the HD then don't resign yet, but maybe if you do resign you might shine a light on issues that they already know about and that might cause others to make a change.
Resigning early might take some pressure off you, maybe they would leave you alone.
But If your students find out it could make them harder to manage, especially if they have seen a defeated attitude from you already-don't expect them to respect you.
Go with your gut. Is it the situation that's not a fit for you- or is it the job that's not a fit. Things always work out for the best.
I hate my job. HATE IT! Every single thing about it. I hate my admin, hate my ineffective FAD, hate the counselors, hate one of my coworkers (the other one is whatever), hate the school culture and I hate coming to work everyday.
It makes me physically ill. I cry on my way to work at least 3 times a week. I find zero joy in the day to day. It's effecting me outside of work since I'm always tired. My husband says all I do is complain about work.
We have decided that no matter what, I will not return after this school year. I really just want to turn in my resignation but I know people will start treating me poorly but I also want them to know how much they have killed my spirit.
Has anyone turned in a resignation early in the year just because. I have no future job prospects. But emotionally I can't be here again.
