but, there may be some physical or emotional reasons why you are feeling so overwhelmed. You do not have explain to anyone why you are needing a break. The upcoming holiday season may also be affecting you.
Your teaching situation will not change; you need to take care of yourself by adapting to it.
You do not need to decide today if you are going to resign. Take a break, step back and look at the big picture. A different teaching situation may energize you. When you don't feel so overwhelmed, you can make some plans.
I moved across Texas to start over fresh.
It can be done.
Perhaps you can find a church or sports group to help you find life outside the band hall. You can not keep doing the same things and expect a different result.
God Speed.

I hate my job. HATE IT! Every single thing about it. I hate my admin, hate my ineffective FAD, hate the counselors, hate one of my coworkers (the other one is whatever), hate the school culture and I hate coming to work everyday.
It makes me physically ill. I cry on my way to work at least 3 times a week. I find zero joy in the day to day. It's effecting me outside of work since I'm always tired. My husband says all I do is complain about work.
We have decided that no matter what, I will not return after this school year. I really just want to turn in my resignation but I know people will start treating me poorly but I also want them to know how much they have killed my spirit.
Has anyone turned in a resignation early in the year just because. I have no future job prospects. But emotionally I can't be here again.
