Don't do it. You need to be fine knowing that you won't be back. A piece of paper that could make your next few months horrible isn't going to magically make things better. Get a job in the spring, turn that bad boy in...that will make you feel better. If you don't have a job by Easter...still turn it in. I've seen people get reassigned to covering ISS, alternative school, long term sub roles...which, legally they can do.
You can make it, I've been there, I still have a few of the pounds to show for it. There is greener grass other places, spend the next few months looking, start talking to other directors and try to get on the in. Hit that job fair at TMEA, get your resume in as many hands as possible. Good luck!
