You'll need to ace the GRE, honestly. That's going to be the primary thing that gets you considered.
Highly respected individuals writing letters of recommendation will also help. It all depends, though, on what kind of graduate program you're looking for.
Anybody have any recommendations on how to recover a low gpa for graduate school? Let's say I didnt "figure it out" until the last 2 years of college, and have a sub 3.0 gpa because of bad choices and bad situations. My last 60 hours (including student teaching) is above 3.0, but overall I'm a tad bit lower then a 3. Anyone have experience with this? I would love the opportunity to approach a masters with my current work ethic and mentality, but I'm not sure if that ship has sailed.
