Re: Thanksgiving Lunch with Parents = INTERRUPTIONS
Okay. That provided absolutely no help. I made it clear that I feel that this is a good thing for parents and families. I was seeking advice to help out our faculty that is teaching and was seeing if maybe there was a different way. I donít need some snarky individual reminding me that I do it for the kids. I teach in my hometown, am related to some of my students and am honored to lead all my students. Have a good day.
You just have to deal with it. Remember what we do is for the kids.
Today is when parents may join their children for lunch to celebrate Thanksgiving. They are calling out every single student whose parents have come to go to the cafeteria. Itís quite frustrating since the announcements over the intercom are constant. Is there another way? Iíd love to hear what your schools do. I believe theyíve scheduled the parents to eat with the kids before the actual lunch period because of space availability. I know these are great memories for the kids and their parents so I understand that itís a great event for our students but this is quite annoying. Thanks!!
