I am in region 28 and I can tell you I cant stand teaching region music. I try not to teach by rote, but sometimes even after the kids dont understand the rhythm I feel like I am beating a dead horse sometimes. Dont get me wrong my kids are trying, but I dont have the motivation to have "numbers" like other directors do. My kids want to be playing other stuff. Plus, I am very limited on my time. Not an excuse, but its more like a measuring contest now days. Oh well I am just ranting
